- Brass is any alloy of copper and zinc.
- Muted yellow color relatively resistant to tarnishing.
- Higher malleability than copper

- Excellent acoustic properties.
- Relatively low melting point of brass (900 to 940°C)
- Fairly easy material to cast.
- Naval brass contains
tin and is resistant to sea water
- 90% of all brass alloys are recycled.

- Malleability & acoustic properties
